Hair Natural Beauty Tips
A well – balanced diet that includes lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and plenty of water helps to keep your hair well nourished and healthy-looking. You can supplement your hair’s healthy diet with hair care products containing keratin, vitamins such as biotin, panthenol, vitamin A, E and essential oils.
The origin of “shampoo” comes from a Hindi word that means “to have one’s head massaged”. Massaging your scalp as you wash your hair not only feels great, but it increases circulation and stimulates oil glands to release natural oils into your hair. Use shampoo that is designed specially for you hair type (dry, oily, colour-treated, etc.). Rinse with cool (not hot) clean water for extra shine and allow your hair to air dry naturally whenever possible.
- Moisturize & Protect
The extremes in our weather make it necessary to add extra moisture to your hair practically all year round. There are plenty of products available, including conditioners that are specially formulated to give your hair extra moisture in the dry winter months, and spray-in conditioners with SPF to protect your hair from the drying effects of the sun in the summer months.
For an intense moisture treatment, massage your favorite conditioner (preferably one containing keratin) into your hair and then cover your hair with a shower cap. Let it sit for at least 5 minutes before rinsing. The heat from your head will help the nutrients in the conditioner to penetrate your hair.
