Mexican Dip
INGREDIENTS
| 1 | 8oz pkg. Lactantia Cream Cheese | 250g |
| 1 cup | Astro Original Balkan Style Plain yogourt | 250 mL |
| 1 cup | guacamole | 250 mL |
| 1 cup | salsa | 250 mL |
| 1 cup | shredded iceberg lettuce | 250 mL |
| ½ cup | diced red bell pepper | 125 mL |
| ½ cup | chopped green onions | 125 mL |
| 1 cup | Black Diamond Sargento Shredded Sharp cheddar cheese | 250 mL |
PREPARATION
- In small bowl beat Lactantia cream cheese and Astro yogourt until smooth. Spread onto bottom of 9×13
- Spread guacamole over yogourt mixture.
- Spread salsa over guacamole mixture.
- Spread lettuce over salsa.
- Spread red pepper over lettuce.
- Spread green onions over red peppers.
- Sprinkle Black Diamond Sargento cheese evenly over dip.
- Serve with crackers, tortilla chips, pita bread or vegetables.
- Cover and refrigerate any leftover dip.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Replace Astro Original Balkan Style Plain yogourt for any other Astro Plain yogourt. Using a lower fat yogourt will result in a thinner dip.
- Replace Guacamole with Avocado Dressing if desired.
- Add ½ cup (125 mL) diced fresh tomatoes, sliced olives to final layer.
- Add 1 tbsp (15 mL) taco seasoning mix for additional Mexican spice flavour.
